Happy Hump day guys!
Since I really started taking my making seriously, I have had such an overwhelmingly positive response to my work and it truly does encourage me to keep going.
I've recently been focusing on pushing my brand on other social media, and I encountered by first ever experience of internet trolls.
Luckily I have got a thick skin, so I didn't look too much into it, but it did make me think if this were someone else, how would they have reacted.
It's so easy to be "anonymous" behind a computer screen, not being held responsible for the actions you throw out there.
A few things crossed my mind, do I reply to their comments, or do I just rise above it, or call them out. Funnily enough, the trolls were middle aged men who probably have nothing better to do with their lives.
I decided just to block them and move on, but I wanted to encourage all creatives that your work is important and valid, so keep going! And if you do come across any trolls out there, block them, and move on, they're not worth any of your headspace.
